Macro Coffee Beans on DIY Turntable
Experimenting with a homemade turntable, I tried stacking some classic macro coffee bean shots. I did't use a macro lens but just my trusty Sigma 18-35mm Art Lens on the Panasonic GH4 as this setup was able to get a close enough distance to the bean pile I made on the table. I tested a few different variations of side and back lighting but the real trickiness came from trying to manually spin the table while dropping beans. Since this shoot the DIY turntable has been replaced with a large motorized turntable.
