Took the new DJI Phantom 4 Professional out for a spin at Eagle Falls, Washington. I'm really starting to have a hard time driving by this place without stopping to shoot some pics and vids. After exploring a couple other locations off Highway 2, I popped down here to see how well this new bird could capture the rapids in 4K slow motion.
When getting the new drone upgrade I figured I'd shoot 4K 60p for slow motion and then 30p when I didn't need it. After the first test run I really started to like the realistic look of 60 frames per second being played back with 4K resolution. I've never been a fan of it when it comes to watching movies with that "soap opera" look, but for nature shots , it just makes you feel like you're right there. I edited a couple of the shots in slow motion at 30p and a couple in 60p for the realism. I definitely have high hopes for future projects to come with such a quality little camera in the air.
